Grapefruit Oil White

Citrus paradisi

White grapefruit oil is obtained from the skin of the fruit. It is produced as a by-product during the production of juice concentrates. The oil smells extremely refreshing and has a pleasant, sweet and refreshing characteristic. Grapefruit has a high vitamin C content and is therefore considered to be particularly healthy. When grapefruit oil is extracted, the yield is approx. 2 to 4 kilograms of oil per 1000 kilograms of fruit. About 300,000 kilograms of grapefruit oil are produced worldwide every year. Grapefruit oil is frequently used in various areas of the flavor and fragrance industry and is mainly used for flavoring beverages and confectionery as well as perfuming body care and household products.
